Dain Cooke is the general manager of Marcella’s Ristorante, Pizzeria and Wine Bar in Denver’s LoHi neighborhood.
Cooke worked at Cameron’s American Bistro in Ohio as a server assistant in 1996 before switching careers. He later returned to the Cameron Mitchell Restaurant group in 2008 as a server and bartender and was promoted to the dining room manager at Cap City Fine Diner and Bar in Gahanna, Ohio. He has also worked at Marcella’s in the Short North neighborhood in Columbus, Ohio as a server, bartender, and dining room manager, and was most recently the general manager. Cooke is now the general manager at Marcella’s in Denver.
According to Cooke, the days of working in hospitality are never the same and he stresses the importance of learning how to interact with different personalities. His greatest advice to associates is to reach out to likewise individuals and learn from their experiences in order to grow professionally.
Cooke holds a degree in hospitality management from Columbus State Community College and is a member of the Theta Chi Fraternity.
Cooke enjoys attending community events, bike riding and dining out.
