Executive Chef Jacob Glowacki
Growing up, Jacob Glowacki watched Julia Child and fell in love with food, cooking and the restaurant and hospitality industry.
Glowacki began his career with Cameron Mitchell Restaurants with an intensive 80-hour internship during high school. After graduation, he was offered a position at Cap City Fine Diner and Bar. In 2011, Glowacki transitioned to Marcella’s at Polaris as a line cook and in 2015, he transferred to Marcella’s in Short North, gaining valuable experience as a supervisor and sous chef, and now he currently serves as the executive chef.
For those aspiring to be chefs, Glowacki’s advice would be to listen before you speak, work hard, and to always keep your mind open to trying new ways of doing things.
Glowacki currently resides in Merion Village, Ohio. When he isn’t cooking, he enjoys spending time outdoors, barbequing, watching Columbus Blue Jackets hockey, and finding up-and-coming restaurants around Columbus.
